Squeezing The Most From The SX-56

I have had the first generation SX-56 from T-Mobile for several years now and just upgraded to 64 mg of Ram. I am generally happy with T-Mobile service and really like the SX-56. I am kinda "old school" tending to keep stuff for as long as it remains functionally feasible. With my new memory, I have a few questions about how much farther can I take this unit:

1. How can I tell if I have WM 2003 or 2003 SE?
2. Can my operating system now run WM 2005?
3. What other general upgrades can I take advantage of?

Thanks for any input!
