T-Mobile PDA (new devices in 2006?)

I have a T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition (original, not 2003). The battery is wearing out and not holding a charge very well.

I'm looking for advice:

1. Anyone aware of any new PDA/Cell phone (Microsoft / Pocket PC) devices coming out for T-Mobile next year? Right now they have NO Pocket PC devices available.

2. Should I just buy a "new" Pocket PC Phone Edition (from ebay, etc.)?

3. Or should I just buy a new battery -- how easy / hard are they to install?

I need to stay with T-Mobile.

Thanks,
Mike

I would presume that new devices are forthcoming; but I have no proof whatsoever.

However, I have performed the upgrade on my device. I bought the upgraded battery from Pocket PC Techs when I was experiencing the same problems that you have now.

It really wasn't hard at all. If you have ever disassembled any electronics before; it should not cause you any trouble.

The decision rests with whether you want to spend the money or tough it out and wait.

I did my upgrade about six months ago; out of necessity. However, I will likely upgrade in the future, should something better come along.

Hope this helps.
