I purchased a unit from ebay(First mistake)lol! Anyway the phone powered on the first time I tried, then the display just went blank while running some kind of test. Ever since that the phone will power on (I can hear it), but there is no display. When I tap the stylus I hear it also. Please respond to this with any suggestions or comments it would be greatly appreciated!!

im haveing a similer problem but its my fault i the phone was working fine and i went to unlock it useing a new rom and it went to wait 5 mins on my pc and on the phone but an error popped up something like unuseable port but any way the phone was stuck on that i tried reseting it and when i tried the rom again it wont let me because i dont have an activesync connection how would you put something on the phone without the activesync connection

I am not sure, cause i unlocked my phone by connection it to my computer with activesync. There may be another way, I am just not sure. If your computer has Infra red, that might work...
