After 4 month's of use, and never letting the battery rundown, my Xda 11a froze. I was unable to activate the device and could not perform a soft reset. I had to do a full device reset. Have lost all data and contacts list (i had not performed a recent backup of information). Is there a way to retreive lost data, contact list, emails?

I am now experiencing the same problem - frozen screen - as you. I have to do a hard reset. And then do a recovery. This problem only occurs when I am connected to my laptop and after synchornization. It is not every sync. And when I try to do a backup on the PDA, it would not let me - file sharing violation.

Any idea, anyone?
