Damn, I thought that feature was coming in Today Phone Pro, not in Phone Today...

I tried Phone Today a few versions ago and was not impressed. It didn't seem to do much that wasn't already there in the PE, such as signal strength and battery and such. It was also quite the resource hog, especially while doing its update.

Any improvements in those areas? If you're using it with a PE, what does it do for you that's not built in already?

Just loaded it up. and the crowd goes..... WOOOOHOOO! A MUTE FUNCTION!

If it was this wasy how come I could never get HTC to do it!? grrrr

I like it, it works with the new Jabra Freespeak that has the PPCPE adapter (not for sale yet). These guys did a pretty good job! I wish they would have made the battery meter a little nicer, I don't particularily like the dots.

I forgot to mention to Mike in the announcement on the new Phone Today that there's a small application installed (along with Phone Today) called "MutePhone" that you can assign to a hardware button in order to toggle mute.

What would you like instead of dots for the battery meter?

The mute button application in Phone Today sounds like exactly what I am looking for. Where do I get a copy of Phone Today?

I have a Siemens SX56 with Windows Mobile 2003, but the mute icon in the dialer is so small you need to use the stylus to activate it. I'd like to have a mute button as one of the hardware buttons or an icon that is large enough to push with my finger. I also use D9 as a dialer, but it doesn't have a mute button either.

Having an application assigned to a hardware button would be perfect!
