Matrix like screen problem

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

My phone seems to drift in and out of this interesting problem. It started happening when I updated to ActiveSync 3.8 and turned the computer on and off with the phone still in the cradle. I don't think this is the reason for the problem though.

Could this be a result of a battery going bad?

Did you ever get a reply?

I'm having the same problem. Can it be cured, or is time for a new phone?

If a hard reset doesn't work, I think it's time for a new phone.

Matrix Screen Problem

I did a hard reset on my phone, and still had the problem. I could have sent the phone off to have work done on it but I felt that I then purchased a used pocket pc from ebay and after 6 more months purchased a T-Mobile MDA. The mda is an okay phone but the smaller screen is harder to negotiate for this older techie.

same problem

I'm having the same problem with 9100 mda.

I've noticed the pouch i keep it in (meant for it) uses to strong magnets to hold it shut. Magnets and screens don't really mix>?

Anyway I've just paid £213 quid for this phone second hand and I'm dying to get it working and get my moneys worth.

I'm just sick of people who say 'oh shouldn't buy second hand then' or 'time for a new phone'.

It's not helpful when thats what forums are suppost to be for. If people on here know there stuff then please can someone help?

Also if anyone has resolved this yet please reply asap.
