Unhappy Please read need you guys help

I sold a friend my tmo pocketpc phone 8 months ago. Before I sold it tmo had just replaced it with a new one because of battery problems etc. So basically he got a brand new one. I am going to buy it back now that tmo has added towers in my area. The friend I sold it to brought it for his wife to use. She never even took it out of the box. The new phone has 2002 software on it still. My question is should I upgrade it to 2003 or just wait until they get all of the bugs out of the upgrade. I downloaded the 2003 upgrade from tmo just before they remove it from their site. What would you guys do if you were me?

While I can't speak to tmo (I have AT&T) 2003 seems to handle memory much better that 2002. That alone would get me to upgrade.

Thumbs down

NO.

After the upgrade....

1. SD Mem Card Erasure.
2. Poor Sig Strength and Trouble getting back on after being out of range.
3. Unit powers on by itself while in a no signal environment (kills bat life).
4. Lots of lock-ups (when starting and ending call).
5. Contacts default to "all contacts" each time you close.

Even with a New 2003 from T-MO i am still seeing the Unit power on. (has nothing to do with the upgrade).

I am trying to get them to send me an old 2002...It worked better.
