I have SX66 with cingular service. Yesterday I upgraded the ROM as per instructions on SX66 Standardization Project site. All 3 ROM upgraded successfully. After upgrade PDA works fine.

When I make call I can't hear the ring. I can't put phone on speakerphone either. However other party does get the call. When other party accepts the call, I can't hear other party nor it can hear me.

Similarly when I get the call I can hear the ring. When I accept the call phone goes mute / deaf.

I have verified following
1. Speaker as well as mic works fine with other application.
2. If I use bluetooth headset I can talk to other party and I can hear other party too.
3. I rolled back ROM to Siemens ROM but problem still persists.
4. I tried several hard resets. But no luck.

Does anyone know what might have gone wrong?

I have had the problem in the past (not with this update) and what I have to do is a reset (the hole on bottom near the connector). This normally fixes the problem for me.
