Hello,

I've had my SX66 for about 16 months, but I am new to using the data features on this PDA. Lately, I've been doing quite a bit of internet browsing as well as trying to use MSN Messenger and other programs.

Lately, I am finding that even with opening just a single application or browser page (depending on the site), I am getting memory errors. Any program that I have had recently open, seems to be stuck open, as far as memory usage is concerned. I will get an alert message telling me that memory is critically low and to close open programs, with a list of radio buttons beside a list of open programs to select. Most of them are programs that I had recently opened but then exited. Often, even if I close programs to conserve memory, the PDA will lock up and require a soft reset.

What are my options to solve this problem? It is very distracting to have to reboot the phone every few minutes.

Which version of the System and Extended roms are you running on your phone? Another thing to remember is that pressing the X or OK to close the application, doesn't actually close the application. Without a 3rd party product to intervene, Windows Mobile will keep the application running, until go into the memory settings to close them.
