general question T-mobile MDA ?

I currently do not own a PDA, Im a t-mobile customer; Queens ,NY.
I am thinking about purchasing the new T-mobile MDA, it has all the features i need in a phone which I currently need,
And I was thinking since I will be going on rotations this coming year I would like to be able to access or have Lexi xomp or micromedex which are programs utilized by pharmacists or any healthcare worker on my phone.
I was wondering if anyone currently has a T mobile MDA, what do they think about it? recommendations? will i be able to dload the lexi comp program or any other similar program?

and one more question, if u had to choose between the HP ipaq hx 2490 or the HP iPAQ hx 2495 which one would u recommend.? Or any other pocket pc at the same price area about 350$ tops. I know its a user based opinion but jus like to know ur thoughts.

Thank u in advance for your time

I've had my MDA for about a month and a half now and have been more than happy with it. There is a HUGE learning curve and doing simple tasks such as transferring MP3's is not as intuitive as it could be, but all in all it is an excellent device. I'm not sure about the compatibility of the programs you mentioned. You may want to go to the website where you download them, or check google. There should be a list of compatible phones.

Mda 3

I have had my MDA for 18 months in the UK with T-Mobile.

As the previous reply stated somethings are not as intuitive as they could be, but I could not live without it.

Working in an IT Support environment, being able to have wireless, iRDA and Bluetooth all in one handheld package is a fantastic bonus. I can test connectivity one any number of devices without having to carry a phone, PDA and laptop.

My colleague had an orange SPV and after seeing my MDA went and swapped it!

Hope this helps.

Regards

Ian
