Well i bought a Pda2k second hand, now the guy i bought it off hasnt used it for a while so like the battery was DEAD there was not a drop left, pressing the power button would do absolutely NOTHING.

Anyway i got home n put it on the charger. the red light, well orange really, came on n yeah well it was like that for about half an hour, then it started turning on and proceeded to ask me to calibrate the device, etc. Anyway after a few seconds, it would reset again and do the same thing....over and over.....it stops when i pull out the charger and once again i cant turn it on. i put the charger in and it does it again!!!

Now a way i found to get only the red/orange light on without it turnin on n resetting n turnin on n resetting, etc. Is to take the abttery out, or leave the battery in and just have the little clip that holds it in, released. now this is all fine n dandy cept i've had it like that for 5 hours and when i put the clip back with the charger in, the same reset thing happens, n i cant even turn it onn or do anything with the charger out.

Also i left it for about 2 hours resetting, just to see what would happen, and alas i stilll cant operate it without a plug up its bum, and even with the plug it frequently resets every 30 seconds or so.

any help would be much appreciated.
