blue angel(sx-66) or wizard(cingular 8125)?

i am having a hard time deciding, so i have a quick question....

which should i go with?.....are ther any ex-sx-66ers out there that went with the 8125?......what are your thoughts?

i own an sx-66 but have the opportunity to get a cingular 8125....

i have messed around with the wizard and it seems to be a pretty nice device(WM5 is very nice)...but the wizard does lack some things....1). it does not have the /Storage directory.....2). it doesnt have as much system memory 3). it has a smaller screen.....these are not that big of a deal....but i have read that the wizard is very underpowered(CPU wise, that is....) but i have also read that under regular use it is ok....hrmmm...

changing your PDAphone can be quite a chore....so if i was to make the plunge, i want to make sure....so any experiance you cats may have would be appreciated!.....thank you again....this site has rocked since day one!!....

I made the switch from SX-66 to Qtek 9100 back in April, and haven't looked back. I can't say that I've really noticed the slower CPU much, especially since it's easy to overclock. The only issues I've had relate to differences between WM2003 and WM5; you'd have the same issues if you installed WM5 on your SX-66.

You'll notice a huge difference in WiFi performance, and a lesser but still significant improvement in BT. I also find the Wizard's screen a bit easier to read because it's sharper, and I find the Wizard keyboard much more usable.

good one cfizzle.....hey, i know that guy... lol ......but i am starting to lean back toward the 66.....
...
...

on the 8125,
that smaller screen can be rather tedious to use...it reminds me of a game controller that is too small...and it is set kind of deep....so it is hard to hit the upper and lower corners(you have to use the stylus)

less internal memory..

....it is noticably slower which really stinks if you are to using GPS and listening to music......(the music will skip out)...i know that some of that may be the storage card.....but i have never had that problem with the 66.....
.......................

anybody else out there who almost or did switch from a blue angel to a wizard?....

hmmmmmmm??????

I actually traded my PDA2K for a Qtek 9100. I am very happy that I did. Here are the the reasons that, at least to me, make it worth it to switch:

better camera
better keyboard
edge speeds vs just gprs
you can actually use a bluetooth headset with it, unlike any that I tried with the pda2k
persistant storage.... don't lose your data if the battery dies.
size... pda2k is HUGE compared to the wizard, and while the screen is smaller, it is not too small to be usable.

that's what I came up with off the top of my head.....
