New wireless router can't connect PDA

I have a siemens sx66 one year old. I just got a new wireless router. Two of the computers connect and my laptop but my PDA doesn't. I have tried everything I could think of. I set my router just like my sons (I can connect to his). Anyone have any ideas, its driving me crazy (short trip). I am a 60 year old grandmother so be gentle...LOL

Thanks in advance
Joy

I'm not familiar with your PDA but here are a couple things to check.

1. The majority of PDA's only support 802.11b, so check your router and make sure you have this enabled. Typically, 802.11g routers have the ability to have g and b enabled at the same time.

2. Verify the security settings if you have any set on the router such was WEP, WPA and check to see if your router is broadcasting its ID (SSID). If it isn't, then you will need to set this manually.

I tried all that you said and no go...any other thoughts. I would be greatly appreciated. I have been working on it for days. It's maddening, isn't it, when things don't go right!

I have experienced the same problem w/my SX66. I just upgraded my ROM & BT Stack & can no longer connect to my home network. I have a Netgear router w/WEP enabled 128 bit security. Can anyone w/an SX66 & router tell us what your SX66 settings are?
