Ok i really dont know what to do...HELP!

haha okay well im new to the sx66 and all pda's

my friend and his brother had sx66's and his brother moved and told him to sell it

i bought it and the battery is completly dead

when i plug it into the charger it goes to a setup your pocket pc screen and then i can maybe get half way through that process then it resets itself.

if i turn it off once it goes to the setup screen, it will shut off then have the orange light (assuming charging?) but then powers itself up and constantly resets itself

if i plug it in and let it sit then it goes to the setup screen, and resets itself every 15 seconds

what do i need/can i do???
