Setting up text messages on qtek 9090 on Cingular network

Firstly I am a newbie, so please bare with me if I ask something that has been asked before.

I just purchased a Qtek 9090 to use on my cingular network.

How do I set up the phone to recieve and send text messages?

That's it for now, again please try to be nice if my quetion seem elementary, I figured this is a forum and this would be the best place to get help

You might also want to check out the SX66 Standardization Project -- it has Blue Angel ROMs customized for use with Cingular/AT&T networks.

At the very least, you will need to create connection settings on the device for Cingular. Even though this resource says "MDA II", the instructions here will work for your 9090:

After you have the connection settings in place, you can use Inbox to send and receive text messages just like they were e-mail. I hope this helps!
