Write to Storage Card through USB

Is there a way to write to the storage card directly through Windows File Explorer when the device is connected via the USB cable. My sx66 shows up in file explorer under \Mobile Devices>My Pocket PC> but every thing there is read only. Why can't I drag and drop files to my storage card.

To work around it I sych files to my PDA's internal memory and then copy and paste them to the storage card. But that is rediculous when you have a large number of files and the size is larger than the inboard memory.

Am I missing something? I can do this with a $20 flash drive but not a $500 phone.

Send a message via MSN to Spud

Have youy tried using the Explore button in Active Sync? Or more to the point - making sure you have a standard sync relationship, not a guest? If it is a guest relationship, this would explain why it would be read only from windows.

make sure your card isn't locked. make sure you have a standard activesync partnership and the program is running on both ethe ppc and the pc. Explore using activesync.

also if you have a large number of files invest in a card reader for your computer. it's ten times faster literally. (don't quote me on that number )
