not biased, just know what will work going forward. it is true that anyone signed up to media net prior to 12/04 should still work fine (although many are now being billed usage). any new accounts, however, need a PDA data connect for xHTML. you don't have to believe me, go ahead and try. the highest feature that includes any sms/mms is Media Works for $19.99/month. 1000 sms, unl. mms, 3MB Media Net.
note: this varies market to market. i work in the philadelphia market (DE, central/south NJ, PA). things may be different where you are.

So as far as WAP, i still get that yes?
And why do i need xHTML and WML browsing? What would i miss if i dropped down except handing over $15 extra a month?
I basically, only need to be able to get my email whenever. Checking google.com for info is nice and i would also like to have MSN and Yahoo messengers running. What wouldnt i get if i had the 24.99 plan? I guess i am still a bit confused as to what the actual benefits are. Thanks for your replies thus far.

To put it simply, HTML is full internet browsing and WML is a scaled down version. Not all handhelds can support HTML, which is why there is WML. For your purposes, you should be fine with Media Net. Good luck.

Yeah I was told the same thing that I needed the pda data plan and that the media.net wouldn't work. But for all purposes the media.net packages work with the sx66's.
I picked up the 24.99 media net in feb for my sx-66. works fine for internet browsing. I dont use email, text or messenger. Hard enough to be left alone to do my work as it is, cant imagine having all that running and still get any work done!
