I really appreciate all the effort and work you have put into seeing this through. You have provided great customer service through all of this, even going so far as to make sure some one from Mugen Power covered for you while you were on vacation.

Hi, i have one of the 2200mAh batteries in an O2 XDA IIs and there is a noticeable bit of movement when it is fitted, does not fit as tight as the original one. Will the modified ones fit any better or will they have the same issue? Thanks
Finally had the 2200 battery fall out of my pda2k. But first you have to hear the whole story.
Today my wife and I came home from shopping and I put my phone (in an EB Slipper case) on top of the car along with a book while I took some stuff out of the refrigerator and other groceries out of the trunk. I don't know what I did or it possibly just slid but I heard some stuff hit the ground and when I looked it was my book and the pda2k. I didn't think too much about it at first because the eb slipper offers a lot of protection but when I gave a little closer look, the front cover had opened and the pda2k was on the ground on the concrete driveway screen side down and no cover over it. I picked it up half expecting to see some cracks or worse but all looked ok. So then I pusched the on button and nothing happened. I pushed a couple more times and still nothing. I thought for a minute as to what might keep the unit from turning on other than the worst case scenario and I then decided to check the battery. I pulled the pda2k out of the case and the batter, sure enough, was loose. I shoved the battery back on and pushed the clip shut and turned on the unit again and voila, it went on and all was well. I've been checking the screen since then and its fine.
So, yes, my 2200 battery did come out of the case but it took a fall from about 5 1/2 feet up down to a concrete driveway to force it out.
Has anyone used the 3300 battery yet? If so, how much longer? How big is it? Finally, to order either 2200 or 3300 for the Sprint 6600, do I need to specifically request the new battery that doesn't fall out. I just see one batter for all devices listed on the Web.

You do not need to specify that it must fit the Sprint 6600. All batteries now fit the 6600. We are not shipping the older versions anymore. They are going back to China!
Are there safety issues with these batteries? I just ordered one of these but I was reading about certain 3rd party batteries not having the safety circuitry in them like the OEM battery does. Does the 2200 battery have all the same safety controls to prevent over charging, overheating, etc?
Your concerns are properly founded. But we'd like to confirm that these batteries do have complete approved circuitry. Mugen Power have been manufacturing batteries since 1979 and do so to OEM standards.
The only other question I have is I just ordered a 2200 battery from your website but it says "out of stock" how long before you expect more of these in?
Originally posted by ps_benj no reviews in yet for the 3300 battery, however I went ahead and ordered one since Mark seems to be focused on customer satisfaction.

I've modified the title of the part. It would seem the search feature only references the title and not the description. So, I've added VX6600 and SX66 in the title. It will now find the batteries if either of these are placed into the search box.
FWIW, I am looking at having the whole site overhauled into something more user friendly plus adding Firefox capability. It will take some time though since this site is completely integrated with our accounting software.
How do you like that 3300 mAh battery?.....have you found a case solution for it?....thats the one i want to buy....i had a 1500 mAh external battery on my sx-56.....and it ROCKED....i could go 4-7 days without having to charge it(i used it all the time).....
what kind of love are you cats getting out of these bad boys?...
ROCK!!!

I've used the 3300 battery in my sx66 for two weeks now.
I can finally make it through an entire day with the radio on and talk for several hours without constantly being plugged in.
However, the battery can come loose and pop out fairly easily, more easily than described in prior posts in this thread.
I'm not sending the battery back, I feel that a 3300 replacement battery would come out as easily as my current 3300.
I'm convinced that if I can place some velcro or other sticky subtance between the battery and the phone I can reduce the battery movement and thus reduce the seperation.
So Mark, feedback to the battery manf ask them to make the battery fit more snug. I'd rather have a hard time getting the battery in place instead of a hard time keeping the battery in place.
(I'll gladly alpha/beta test the new design!)
b-t-w Mark shipped the battery quickly and packaged well for its postal voyage.
We have acquired a XV6600 that arrived today. We're are going to repackage it tomorrow with some of the defective returns we got and ship it to Mugen Power. I am also reviewing the main threads for all comments about the battery to make one conscise report to send to Mugen Power. With the report, the samples and a known problem unit (we bought it from a client who had problems) there should be enough here to get the job done right. If it is not corrected this time, then we know where we stand.
