I am expecting the 2000mAh batteries to ship to us this week. I am anxiuosly waiting for them. As soon as they ship (and I have the tracking number) I will post it here! We did receive a shipment already this week and they were not with them. So, I expect that they will ship before Friday. A few more days.....

Just to let you know that the batteries did indeed arrive (the 2000mAh) and we are now shipping. As soon as the 3300mAh batteries ship we'll let everyone know again.

Did anyone order/receive this batter yet? How long does it actually last, and how does it fit in your case(what case do you have)?

Checkout the XV6600 forum...
http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/s...831#post297831

Several of us have received the extended batteries. Best news is the label shows them being 2200 mAh. Fit and feel nice on the phone. Fit my original slipper case just fine... should be getting my EB case today or tomorrow.

Regards,
Brian

Just received mine about an hour ago. Fits the phone great, looks just fine. VERY snug fit in the cradle with a little lean forward. Fits the EB Slipper case with no problem.

I've got the phone with the new battery in the cradle now, will take a couple of days (at least) to get a reading of this battery.

Great, thanks all. Just placed my order and here's hoping mine is also 2200 mAh. With extra battery and a portable AA charger, I guess I don't have to worry about running out of juice.

I would expect that all of these are the 2200mAH. I've been using it just to get some anecdotal testing done, ie, seeing if it "appears" to be running longer and so far it does seem to be doing its job.

I received mine last night and charged it overnight. It is slightly thicker in that it doesn't curve in a bit like the stock battery, it goes straight down. It feels a bit thicker in your hand and a tad heavier, but not a lot. I just use the case that came with it, and it still fits fine in it.

I think people with vertical flip cases might have problem with this battery being thicker and being tight fit. I just received my Piel Frama case, and tried it on; however, when the case is snapped shut, it appears the case is continueously pressing down on the buttons below the screen. I use 1-pass program to lock it, so it doesn't start up any programs etc., however, it may prematurely drain the battery in the process, as the screen is constantly coming on due to the buttons being pushed. For this reason and because they sent me a wrong case, it is going back for refund. I'll probably keep the stock case and the battery until something better comes out.

I have the EB Slipper case which is a vertical case. No problems here with fit or pressing on the wrong buttons. It may be isolated to your Piel Frama case.

I'm getting long usage times out of this battery but I'm also getting very long re-charging times. I'm getting into the habit of keeping the standard battery handy and just switching and using one while the other is recharging.

I would do that, but I get paranoid about stuff like how good is the latch that holds the battery in place. I worry that it will break on me if I switch the battery too many times!

Looking at the picture of your EB case on their website, leather appears to wrap around the top. Perhaps this is adding additional "cushion" and thickness so that the buttons appear more recessed. It certainly is not the case with Piel Frama or other cases I've seen so far. I may give EB case a try, however, I do have some questions about your case.
1) can you slide out the keyboard to use it without taking the whole phone out of the case?
2) it says it has magnetic closure, where is it located? top bottom edge of the case?
3) Is the top cover stiff to protect the screen or is it a bit flexible?

1) No

3)yes, the cover is braced underneath with a soft cushion feel at the top

I just went to the www.lionbattery.com site - why does the description for the 2200mAh battery now include the comment "Until further notice, this battery is not for use with the Sprint PPC-6601 or Audiovox XV6600 PPC/Phones."

Battery becomes loose and pops out of their PDA without warning. Not a good sign, but the battery on the SX66 appears latched on pretty tight, thank goodness.

I sold my pda2k ... but ... I did have the 2200 battery and I found I was getting about 40% more life out of that battery ... I could use it all day and still have juice for the evening ... I didn't do much Wifi but I did have BT on all day and evening ... the phone was fairly new to me so I "played" alot on it ... lots of juice ... makes it an all day pda ...

Just a quick head's up to let you know that the 2200mAh and 3300mAh "Modified" Mugen Power batteries have arrived and are now shipping. These fix the loose problem that the 2200mAh battery was having with the Audiovox VX6600.

Finally, we're getting this solved. **Whew**
