It's a lot like the original i-mate case, but softer leather and magnetic flap catches instead of the wraparound catch. It also has a nice cutout in the back for the camera that is covered up when the flap is in place. Quite nice! I'll try to get some pics up soon.
For me, there were two problems with this case. 1) to access to the keyboard without taking the unit out of the case. The unit fits tight so this is no small chore; 2) it is a bit bulkier than I like or expected from the pictures, similar to the Krussel.
Here are some pics I took with my phone camera... (not my good digital!) I also noticed the one I got was Navy Blue, not the Black that I had ordered... but I like it!

Yeah, it doesn't give access to the keyboard while in the case. That's not a big deal to me, but to those who are frequent typers... it would be a pain to have to take it out all of the time.
As far as bulk, it is no bulkier than any other case I have used, and is less bulky than many. It may appear to be thick, but the leather is soft and the PDA2K isn't too tight in there at all... it comes out with a gentle push, but won't fall out.
Can't you just open the top of the case and push the keyboard slider up so that the bottom of the unit stays in the slipper case and the top extends up?

Yes, but there is a strip of leather that would cross the screen about 1/3 of the way up and the keyboard is also recessed behind the sides of the case. I wouldn't feel very comfortable typing in that manner... it's impractical.
Nice, high quality, fast deliver (2 days for me in Europe)
I see no case listing for the Qteck 9090 or any other of the Harrier OEM devices listed there. In further checking I found that it is listed if you select that you are from a European country but if you select USA then there is no option there for the 9090.
I got my EB case in. It is a bit thicker than the Piel Frama but I am willing to put up with it since I don't keep launching the phone when I bend over. I also like having all the buttons and screen available and not covered by a bunch of plastic.
It sounds like that Piel Frama case is for the PDA2K. Is that correct? If so, which colour is it? I might be interested in yours if it's the tan one. (Not the black and tan though.)
Also, I found a handy Java Script on the Piel Frama website which shows detailed shots of the case and how the clip works. I also noticed that the clear plastic portion is supposed to go over the keyboard, behind the screen rather than over it.
Does the PDA2k seem like it fits snugly in the case, or does it wiggle around on the top? I can't see from any of the pictures if there is anything keeping it attached other than that clear plastic cover over the keyboard.
I think the sliding keyboard is going to prove problematic for just about any case design. Has anyone seen a holster for this device? I think, that in combination with my boxwave screen protector would suit me best.
I find it too difficult to easily remove the phone from the included case, and guess it would be the same for any pouch style.
For me I'd like to see a case designed with access to the wake/sleep (on/off) button AND the side buttons. That way I can turn it on connect with my BT headset and push a side button to enable voice command and dial using voice. Two buttons, voice and I'm using the phone. Unrealistic?

The EB slipper has access to those buttons... the top flap might need to be nudged a little to get to the on/off button on top, but it is easily accessible, even on your belt.

Is it reasonable to use the device in this manner. HOw do you use it in conjunction with BT headset?
I generally just keep the device on my belt and use the headset to answer calls. If I need to dial a call, I either take it off the belt flip the front flap back and bring up the dial pad or while still on the belt press the VC button and press my headset button and say "Dial xxx..." Pretty straightforward.

Holy double-post, Batman! JK
Yes, what I meant was that the on/off button is easy to get to also. The front flap lifts easily to turn the PDA2k on if in sleep mode.

I am so torn between the Proporta and EB....
No problem... bottom line... get what you think will be best for the way you will use it. Seems common sense, but you'd be surprised at the people who buy a case just to let it sit and go buy another.... and another...
