Poor signal strength after factory reset

Hello,

I recently performed a factory reset on my pocket PC (Qtek 2020i W2003 SE) to reset my GPRS config. After I had done this I noticed that my signal reception had degraded beyond the point at which I could make or receive calls when in my flat. When at work (2nd floor office) the signal is barely one bar, where previously it had been maxed. A friend with exactly the same 'phone and service (Vodafone UK) visited and had a great signal (almost max) in my flat. Any clues?

Thanks,

Tim
