Hope you can help cause im struggling to understand this.

I currently have a Nkia mobile on orange monthly account. I would like to buy an XDA2i.

Is it legal to unlock this phone to run with Orange?
If so how do I do that?
Will I be able to use my existing SIM for voice?
Presumably I need to get a new orange tarif to include data.
How much does it cost to run on data?

Ant advice would be appreciated.

As far as unlocking is concerned, the legalities (if any) would be written in your conrtact with Orange. Generally speaking the phone lock is there as an inconvienience not a legal binding.

I am assuming you are going to buy your IIi outright, and then use your existing sim card. If so then yes, there would be no problem with this as all GSM sim cards work in all GSM phones.

for the rest of questions, they are something you need to discuss with orange.
