Question Assignable ring tones

For all PocketPC Phones offer, why don't they have assignable ring tones?? -- like contact-specific ring so you can tell who is calling without picking up the unit??

ANyone know about something that addresses this?

There is a program offered on handango.com for $6.99 that allows you to do this. It is called ringtonex. I used it for my T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition, so I'm not sure if it works with Windows Mobile 2003, but for $6.99 it's worth a try.

Does anyone knows if this has a trial offer? Is not that 7 bucks is too much, just tired of trying useless apps than do not fit my needs.

They do offer a free trial that lasts about a week. I used this program on my T-Mobile PPCPE and it worked great!

I've found a very nice solution, it works very well and is free to try.

Look at PhonExt in http://phonext.oabsoftware.nl

Seems to work OK for me, and the level of customisation is superb, it even support categories in Outlook contacts!

Let me know how you liked it.
