Ms Voice Command

I AM PATIENTLY AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF MY MDA 2 AND I WAS LOOKING FOR SUGGESTIONS FOR GOOD BLUETOOTH HEADSETS, AND I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF THEM ARE CAPABLE OF DOING VOICE DIALING VIA MICROSOFT VOICE COMMAND SOFTWARE.

No, I don't believe so. The limitation is with the XDA II, not the headset. Basically, BT headsets are merely wireless headsets. Extended functions that work properly with other phones do not work with the XDA due to software limitations.

Even then, some headsets have a problem retaining their BT profile info after you power off the headset. You have to re-pair the headset to the XDA when the headset is powered off for any reason. For example, Jabra BT headsets with product codes less than 19B don't hold their pairing. I've head than Sony headsets, like the HBH-35 do seem to work though. Its very hit and miss right now.

I have an I-Mate and a Bluetrek Headset. The headset works great and MS Voice Command works, but you won't be able to call up voice command from the headset, you will have to do the voice command from the phone and then the headset will kick in.

My two years old t68 Ericsson phone, does support voice dialing through BT headsets, What does limit XDA II from doing the same?

Is there any cheap program that supports basic voice dialing via BT headsets?
I don't want to expend a lot of money after getting my $800+ XDAII in something a $100 phone does perfectly nowadays!
