Activesync and OMA

I have an mpx220 that I am trying to get to sync with my exchange server 2k3. I have had nothing but problems with this and from what i read on this site, I am not alone! I read alot about testing your OMA page with IE. When I type in mydomain.net/oma, I get a password box twice and then an error page. Aren't I supposet to get a text version of OWA? I'm asking because I think that OMA may be the root of my syncing problem!

Thanks for your help!
