Will WM6 Remote Desktop work with XP Home Edition? If so, how?

I installed WM6 to my HTC Touch Pro(not the card) and I threw everything that remotely looks like a IP address including my computer's name into the "Computer" box above the user name and nothing works. I'm using the User name and password that I use to log into my PC(Domain: box left empty) and nothing works. Is it because there is something wrong with my PC settings or I just won't work with XP Home Edition or what? If it will work with XP Home, is there a step by step for dummies/beginners somewhere? When I click on the Control Panel, I then click on Performance and Maintenance and then System. A window pops up with only 6 tabs: General, Advanced, System Restore, Computer Name, Automatic Updates and Hardware. I believe this was the very same window that was supposed include a tab for Remote Access or something of that nature and I dont have it. The only way to check a box off for Remote Desktop is in the Firewall's Exceptions list where it shows TCP 3389 when I double click on the Remote Desktop box. I have Gamer Lounge(D-Link Router) hooked up. When I open Network Magic(the routers software center) it shows me the IP address, Internet address and all kinds of other numbers. What to choose? Again, am I just doing something wrong because I just don't know how to set this up or do I need to upgrade to XP Pro from XP Home? Any help will be extremely appreciated.

No Remote Desktop will not work with Win XP Home. You can use Win XP Home as a client to remote into another computer with full RDT capability but not the other way around. I have Windows Media Center loaded on all of my PC's which has the host ability in RDT. You will need Media Center, XP Pro or Vista Buisness/Vista Ultimate. I'm not sure if there is a hack for Windows XP Home for Host capability.

Thanks. Does anybody know if there is a hack/bypass/workaround/download to allow RDT host capability with XP Home Edition. If so, is there a step by step somewhere. Thanks again.

I dont think the home version has the capabilities to host, only to client. It requires more of the services that pro offers.
