Hi. This may be a generic question for PDAPhone users and is applicable to my HTC Universal variant machine.
This is running Windows Mobile 5 with Internet Explorer Mobile (IEM). The Intent Java MIDlet manager v10.1.7.541 also comes installed on the machine.
When I access web pages with Java applets they do not run.
Since we already have the MIDlet manager, is there a resident plugin for IEM on the machine which needs activating, or a patch available to link the two, please?
The application is for a user to access some data via an applet, but shouldn't require them to download anything especially, including the Opera browser, hence I am trying to use the machine's inherent browser.

java midlet manager runs java midlet programs. IE the ones you can download from most websites to run on your phone like .JAD or .JAR (like ones from getjar.com) what you are referring to is javascript. i dont think PIE 5 allows for it. if you try the latest Opera i am pretty sure it will work. (not positive tho)
