The Motorola MOTO Q created a new market of Windows Mobile for Smartphone devices that have a similar form factor to the RIM Blackberry. Together with the right server platform, MOTO Q users can experience push email.
Although they are coming out the woodwork now, the Q started it all. It's still a great device. Always room for improvement, but it's the first converged device I have used for this long (over a year) and have not started looking for something else.
