Best Backup App for 755p

Hi All-

Please forgive me if this has been discussed before. I did a search of the 755p forum and came up empty. In about an hour, my 755p will arrive. I am migrating from a heavily modified 7135 that I have had since the day Alltel released them.

I have been using JB Backup on the 7135 with excellent success. I liked it because it does an image backup and image restore. ALL of the settings restore (unlike BackupBuddy VFS). JB Backup will not work with OS5 and it is no longer supported. MY QUESTION:

Which backup app are members of this furum having success with, and why? Please be very specific in stating your pros and cons for your favorite BU app.

Thanks for your help. I hope that I can return the favor some day.

Brad

I agree. BlueNomad's BBVFS is what I used exclusively on a pair of 7135's - on several SD cards that were then backed up on other more reliable media.

Although I must admit, I am Very tempted to try Resco's backup utility. It looks a bit more full featured, and development seems to be quite active - BlueNomad has seemed been a bit sluggish to me in updating its offerings.
