SD card and Yahoo sync questions

I have a Treo 650p with Sprint as my provider. I'm thinking of upgrading to the 755p, mostly because 700+ treos allow for internet/email connection while roaming whereas the 650 does not. Also my 650 is getting pretty darned beat up!

Questions:
1. The 650 uses the SD and the 755 the mini SD. I have a lot of applications and data (music, etc) on my regular SD card....how do I get that all to a mini SD card? I have a regular SD card reader with USB connection to my desktop if that helps.

2. I like to sync up my calendar and contacts with my Yahoo PIM. I use intellisync to do that between the 650 Treo and my desktop/laptop that has both hotsync and intellesync. Will this same software (intellesync and hotsync) work with the 755? any better solutions.

Thanks!
PS..best place to get unlocked 755p? good price these days?

I doubt there is such a thing as an unlocked 755p, it does not have a SIM card. With 2yr contract Sprint sells it for $199 (after a $100 mail in rebate).

I moved from the 650 to the 755, same problem with the cards. What I ended up doing was getting a micro SD kit. These kits come with an adaptor so the micro can be changed to mini or a standard SD card. Also the 755 supports 4gb so you get at little more room.

Sorry, can't answer question 2, but I did sync up with Notes.

sd to mini sd

...so the adapter + a regular sd card (currently using in my 650) can fit in the mini-sd slot in the 755P? Does it stick out or anything?

No, sorry, it won't. I just moved to the micro so that if a future upgrade was needed and they moved to micro. So the micro would convert to a regular SD card so you can transfer to between the two using the computer. Then insert the micro into the mini adaptor so you can put that into the 755.
