rumor wandering around that it's going to be released Nov 21.

I may try out the XV6800, supposed to be released about the same time, just to see if it was really the i760 I dislike or if it's WM. I suppose there's hacks for the majority of the software irritations I ran into.

I was just in the Verizon store yesterday and I asked this very question. The response I got from 2 employees was look for it late January. It would not be released this year.

Very happy to be on the Treo755. Telus up here in Canada. My 650 was on its last legs so the timing was perfect!

Any news more news on the 755p from Verizon? Verizon's selection of PDA's really sucks!

I gave up. I'm using an XV6800 now, which is pretty decent, more memory would be nice tho. I suspect I'm done with palmOS.

As a PIM Palm OS cannot be beat. There are gobs of programs that you can use with it and on Sprint the 755p does wonders on the net (not sure of Verizon's service speed/quality).

three weeks with the XV6800... and I returned it two days ago. My 755p arrived yesterday.

PalmOS has pulled me back in... I didn't like having to constantly fight with my PDA to make it work like *I* want to, not like *it* wants me to.
