I have been syncing fine via Bluetooth and USB for a week on the new Treo 755P and now all of a sudden if I try to HotSync, it gives me a "Unable to initiate HotSync operation because port is in use by another application" error, and then resets itself. From the little research I did, it appears that I will have to cold start the Treo to get out of this... bummer. Will report back if this doesn't fix it. Any other info, feel free to post.

The Kyocers 7135 had a similar problem, which could be cleared by a soft reset, or by initiating the modem program and then trying to sync again.
On the 7135, the problem only occured when initiating the sync with the hardware sync button on a cable or docking station. Selecting the soft sync button in the "sync" app on the phone always worked. No idea if this will help.
