I just upgraded from the 700P to the 755P. For the most part, the phone is great and I'm very happy with it. However, on occassion, when I go to hot sync (either the touch screen or cable button) nothing happens. I get a quick flash of the app and it does nothing more. Then I have to do a soft reset by pulling the battery. Then the other item, which never happened with the 700P, is after the soft reset, the phone app does not automatically turn back on. Typically wheneven I did a hot syn on the 700P, the phone would automatically turn back on. Now today, after the soft reset, the phone would not even go on manually, this was the first time that happened. So I had to soft reset a second time and then manually the phone turned on. Any comments to these issues?

One other observation. The battery life seems a little less than the 700P. The extended battery is fine but not may cases accomodate the bumped out cover.

Try a hard reset and if that does not work, get a new one.
