Send without send/recieve

I have been searching all morning for an answer to this and cant find it. I even found someone else who has this question and they were told to "go search for it" in more words than it would have taken to just answer the question.

Anyways, I have a Treo 700Wx and use pocket outlook to send and receive emails.

The one problem I am running into, is when I send a message, I either need to go and HIT send/receive, or wait until the next scheduled send/receive happens.

My question is... Is there a way to make the message send when I actually hit SEND?

Thanks

Send a message via Yahoo to redifrogger

Go search for it. No, just kidding - I'm not sure how, but I couldn't resist.

Possible solution

I'm no expert, but try this. Open ActiveSync, then Menu, then Schedule. There's a checkbox for "Send outgoing items immediately."

Hope this works!

This will work only for wireless sync against an Exchange server. If you have a presonal account (I.E. GMail, Earthlink, Yahoo) You will have to do it manual. I have look for a way to do automatic send receive, but have not found a solution. The closest you ar going to get is to set these accounts up so that the go do a send/receive on a specific interval. I have my phone set to go check my personal accounts every 15 mins. This seems to work fine, but if you have something that you need to send out that is urgent or whatever, just do a manual.

If you set you phone up to check mail ever say 15 mins, I would make sure that you have an unlimited data plan of some sort, or you could end up with a really big bill.
