Unlimited internet Sprint-Verizon

Can someone point out the detail I am missing on this one please?

I recently thought of switching to Verizon for reasons unimportant to this question but I discovered Verizon wanted to charge $45 for unlimited internet for PDA/smartphones and Sprint only charges me $15 for unlimited internet. Why is that?

Yes, that's why I switched from Verizon to Sprint. And, in my area at least, the Sprint internet access seems much faster than Verizon's. I ended up getting a new line with unlimited data access for less than I was paying Verizon for internet access alone (and a new phone, to boot).

Why is that? Because for whatever reason Verizon (and AT&T) have not elected to compete with Sprint on data plan cost. Say what you will about Sprint, nobody beats them on this. Especially on a SERO plan. It's a key issue if you intend to make full use of a smartphone and have to pay your costs out of your own pocket.

With the SERO plan you get the u.l. data and as of right now u.l. sms texting and mms texting for the $30/month for the 500 anytime minutes

I think I pay $40.xx after the plan insurance and taxes and surcharges for the plan...that includes 500 anytime, u.l. mob to mob, n and w starting at 7, u.l. data, u.l. sms texting, u.l. mms texting, and i think thats it.
