Hi,
You might want to try the process below. This is specifically for setting up Yahoo2go but the process will be pretty much the same for all software.
Pairing the GPS unit:
1) Turn the GPs unit on.
2) On the PPC go to Start>Settings and then the Connection tab.
3) Click on Bluetooth and click “add new device”.
4) It will search for any nearby Bluetooth devices. Once it has finished select GPS20C from the list and click next.
5) On the next screen enter the passcode which is 1234 and then click next.
6) On the next screen tick the “serial port” box and click finish.
7) You will now see GPS20C listed.

Click on the “COM Ports” tab and then click on “new outgoing port”.
9) Select GPS20C from the list and click next.
10) Select one of the ports from the list and remember what number it is, UNTICK the secure connection box and click finish.
11) Now go to Start>Settings>and the system tab.
12) Click on “External GPS”
13) Under the Programs tab Select any port for the “GPS program port”
14) Click on the Hardware Tab and under GPS hardware port select the COM you assigned earlier.
15) Click the Access tab and tick the “manage GPS automatically” box.
16) Click ok in the top right corner.
Using Yahoo2Go
1) Download Yahoo2Go from
Go: Phone Selection and follow the instructions for installing on you PPC
2) Once it is installed run Yahoo2Go on the PPC and then go to the “map” Icon. When you click on it again it should open a map.
3) Click on Options and then go to “connect GPS device”
4) Click Yes on the prompt
5) It’s should then automatically connect to the GPS unit.
6) Now select Show my GPS position from the menu and it should then bring up a map of where you currently are.
If it is still having problems try turning the Baud rate down in the external GPS settings as some software seems to have issues with faster connection speeds.
