Windows Mobile stability
The upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.0 has been a disappointment in one way -- it didn't make my Verizon Treo 70owx rock solid. Everything (word processing, other PDA functions) can work fine for hours, even a day or so, if I don't go online. Then it's not long until the Treo locks up, or refuses to respond. This is nothing new; it's been like this for the 2 1/2 years I've owned a WinMo Treo (first the 700w, then the 700wx). Some ROM builds were better than others for stability. And I can't just blame Windows Mobile; I've had PDAs that were very stabile. I have some third-party apps, but none that I can blame.
My question -- is this normal for Windows Mobile SmartPhones? Something just to live with? Is it the Treo? It's getting time for a new phone/pocket computer, and I'd like something more stabile, if possible.
