Hello,
I am new to the 700wx Verizon, but not new to smartphones or Pocket PC's. I have had the phone for a few days (ebay) and it functions well except for incoming calls. All calls go to my voicemail. I played with it and it looked like when I was in a data session (auto updates) the phone would not ring. If a voicemail was not left, it would not even show a missed call.

Many hours of searches here, PPCGEEKS and the web, I found a document stating 'if a data session is in 1X a voice call would go to voicemail'. It further stated EVDO data was fine, the phone would ring.

Today I stumbled on a VZW document that says they have CPOP automatically activated that will now allow voice calls to be received during a 1X data session. To activate dial *765.

Have I truly found the answer or 1) do I have a defective phone or 2) it can't be fixed and that's how it works normally.

Just as an FYI, the answer was to reset the phone's radio. Verizon instructions below:
1. Open up your on screen dial pad
2. For verizon, dial #*#774
3. A screen will show up, displaying a reset button. Select the button.
4. For verizon, enter six zeros '000000'
5. Once entered your phone function should reset. (if the code entered is incorrect, it will reset as well, but make no alterations)
6. For verizon, dial *228, select option '2'
7) All set!
