aol e-mail problem

i just started having problems with aol mail on my 700wx. it had been working fine until yesterday. now, it won't download messages, just headers.

a box pops up saying "unable to connect to incoming mail server. verify longin info is correct then try again to send and receive." i have checked and double checked settings and even deleted aol account and reconfigured. still same problem.

any ideas as to cause and how to fix?

try rebooting your phone. i had the problem once. rebooted and never had a problem since. but i always reboot when i'm done using the internet. it's faster for me then shutting everything down and telling internet to disconnect. this way i'm assured i'll be able to use bluetooth when i want to use internet. if i don't reboot, i can't use bluetooth till it does reboot.;

thanks for the reply.

when you say "reboot" do you mean a soft reset or a hard reset? or something else?

i have tried soft reset to no avail. i am afraid that i am going to have to do a hard reset and start from scratch.
