Hello all.. I Am trying to hotsync my 700p with my Vista os. I have done so before, yet lately I receive only an error "Unable to initiate HotSync operation because the port is in use by another application".

I receive this message even after rebooting. I have checked to insure that my 700P is visible, the computer is showing as a trusted device and that the computer shows my device and all is in intact.

Any ideas as to what is preventing me from doing the hotsync? Thanks..

I've found deleting the "device" on the phone, resetting , and re-paring usually restores things. YMMV
