More Media File Fun

OK, following some good direction from others here I managed to d/l a file and get it somehow loaded on my 700P. That is, on the SD chip.

Now.

I thought, of course, that I could play the file through my BlueTooth earpiece. Boy, was I wrong. Or, was I wrong? It plays through what appears to be the "ringer" speaker, and I don't see any options to redirect the signal to the BlueTooth.

Am I out to lunch, or is there a way to listen without holding the Palm to my head, an action sure to get you a ticket in California, with the new law.

I remember with my earlier Palm device the corded earpiece would play sound files. What's up?

Thanks.

Don.

I've done some research on this issue myself.

First of all, our dear 700p isn't especially bluetooth friendly. Oh, it works, but not as it "should."

Second, you can listen to music through your bluetooth. However, you must download a third party app called Audio Gateway. This program pairs the mp3 player (in your 700p) with your bluetooth. It is a complete pain in the behind, and costs money on top of that. I tried the free trial, but it made my 700p a little unstable. So, I decided I really didn't need to listen to music through my bluetooth. I'll use my iPod for that.

nicky,

Thanks for the reply, and for the information. I was afraid of that. Odd, isn't it?
