No...it's this one, it's called either Persona or Vaja i volution. The colors are really striking, but the functionality may leave a lot to be desired. Know anything about it?:
I have never had one but have read dozens of reviews and posts on those cases.
BAD
1) Of course since it is a lock release swivel it will stick out.
2) There have been incedences of the "ultra clips" allowing the phone to come loose with out pushing the button, even though the makers of those clips are very proud of their product many have found them to be defective.
3) Since the screen is not covered and faces out its risky.
4) Its not a racheting swivel so it swings about as you walk and you could'nt keep it horizontal if you preferred that.
5) I dont think it will hold a beer
GOOD
1) There is open access to all ports, keyboard and screen.
2) They are very well made.
3) The people who like tose types of cases all say it is the absolute best and worth the money.

1. I hate lock release because they stick out AND...
2. not only do they sometimes come loose, they always come loose with me, but only at the very moment when I am about to board or debark a boat or other floating vessel...or sometimes as I happen to lean over a toilet (don't ask...)
3. just one more reason I prefer others, and
4. I haven't been able to afford a beer since I got my first Treo.
But I do really love the colors. So I might just get one to wear. Or I might put it into my top drawer (with those socks) to remind me that I can't aford a beer.
What do you know about the one you linked to above, on ebay, with the leather over the metal clip and the swivel? How do you think it compares otherwise to Nutshell? It's quite a bit cheaper I noticed.
The only thing I know about them is that there are 2 ladies over a TC that like them alot.
These cases have:
1) A racheting swivel that dosent cause the case to protrude.
2) No port for headphones.
3) Magnetic clasp instead of velcro. (no thanks)
4) Just speculation, surley they cant be made as well as a Nutshell.
5) A clip coverd better than Nutshells clip
I clicked on "buy" the other day just because I wanted to check it out, got out the debt card but then closed the screen.
OK I got my phone at last! The 650 didn't take as long to arrive as I know the Nutshell case will. So my question is, as long as I don't drop the 650 which I bet would be real bad, how safe is putting a naked 650 in my pants pocket and working with it on a regular desk. I wonder if I need to be worried about scratching or dinging it. I think you said you aren't using any skin over the Treo when it's not in the Nutshell. Do you feel safe or do you feel it could get dinged or scratched? And on a related note, did you buy insurance for your 650? Thanks, Will
I use a Box wave screen protector, other than that the treo is naked. it took aroung 2 weeks to get use to that, it still worries me a little.
I get these mysterious scratches out of no where. I have 3 now. One under the phone key. One in the rim of the ringer off switch and on in the middle of the ear section. Its driving me nuts. I want to spray a clear coat on this thing or something.
I only dropped mine once. I forgot it was on my lap when i got out of the car, there it went bouncing end over end across the driveway, bounced 5 times
I am nocturnal sometimes, yeah. But tonight I'm excited about what to get with the Treo. I think there are $4 and $5 insurance plans, both from Sprint for the 650. The latter covers more. Which did you decide to get? You've tried many coverings including at least one that fits in the Nutshell case. Are you still sure it's better for you to have a nude 650 except for it's screen protector when it's not being transported in the Nutshell? While a light case wouldn't protect it from bouncing on the drive way it might protect other causes of small scratches & dents, which as you say are driving you nuts. Like a new car owner, I don't look forward to my first scratch or dent, that's for sure!
I dont like the skin cases that go into pouches like the Seidio Pouch case . I dont like putting the phone in the Sena skin case and then in the Nutshell. What is crze abou it is that all of the scratches are in areas that would not have been covered by most cases any way (the corners, around the camera lense, the ear piece, the rim of the ringer on/off button) So I guess I just need to get over it.
Another thing thats nuts, my 3 year old $20.00 cordless house phone dosent have a scratch on it. And I swear my babies play football with that thing.
So I guess we have $500.00 phones with 50 cent paint jobs.
No I dont know what kind of insurance I have, but when you get the low down I'll change to the one you pick.
I thought there were two insurance plans but when I phoned sprintpcs they told me no there's just the one, it's $5 a month and it covers lost and damaged beyond repair and stolen, and it comes with a $50 deductible and can be used two times a year at most.
After thinking about all the scratches I just ordered this Skin . I had one before but it was blue, the clear looks better.
According to that link among the colors they have are Frosted Clear, Solid Off White, Smoke Carbon and the Blue you dislike. With so many to choose how'd you pick between the solid off white, frosted clear and the smokey skin this time 'round, or were you lucky enough to get the chance to see some of 'em?
