I shoved the phone in to a point that it probably wouldn stay at for the first few month so for awhile the bottons would be covered even more than this
Well after 2 weeks Pacific Rim sent the wrong case. A week later after 20 phone calls, 2 of which were answered, and 8 emails, 3 of which were answered they sent another wrong case. Come to find out the case I ordered is not in stock. I wont complain further, I'll allow the reader to make assumptions on Pacific Rims competency.
So second delivery from PacRim I recieved the open access leather case for the T600
The good:
1) the case is well made it will last for awhile
2) its very slim adding almost no size and weight to the phone
3) with no clear plastic covering the screen or keyboard and the leather a fair distance from buttons and screen this case offers complete non-obstructed use.
4) The top latch is a button and hole magnetic clasp, no snap to struggle with, but still a very secure closure
5) the lock and release swivel is easy to use and holds the phone very securely.
6) the open ports are the stylus, charger, headset jack and side keys (it's hard to say whether or not the ringer switch, IR port and sd slot are covered on the 650 version but they are on the 600 version and it would be hard to make this case without covering them.
The bad:
1) the swivel is not a racheting swivel so it swings about
2) the clip of course sticks the phone out a foot from the hip because it is a lock/release swivel
3) there is'nt much holding the phone in the case. I would be scared to death to jog in the park with this one.

This is case that I finally defaulted to... with some adjustments via razor blade.
The case does look like the phone would fall out... but I've hit it a couple a times and it remained in place. This case is definitely a lot slimmer than my Vaja case.
I don't mind that isn't a ratchet swivel (Vaja wasn't either), and the fact that it costs only $15...

The good
1) For users looking for a case adding no size to the phone this case is amazingly thin
2) The phone is held in the case well, no chance it could fall out
3) The lock/release swivel makes for quick and easy on/off the hip use
4) The leather strap across the front of the phone between the screen and the buttons dosent get in the way
5) Almost all ports are accessable, camers, stylus, usb/charger and ringer on/off, (the button flap on top covers the sd and the IR)
The bad
1) the bottom corners of the phone are left unprotected
2) the paper thin leather near the corners is exactly 1/8 inch wide! I would be shocked if it lasts a year.
3) The clip is the fattest Ive seen yet, you might as well attach you phone to a bobble head and hook that on your belt
4) the hole for the side buttons is cut to small
5) The rachet on the swival is weak, for example if you like to keep your phone horizontal, every time you bump it you'll have to reposition it

The only case that:
Dosent stick out like you have a fax hooked to your belt
Might last longer than a few months
Allows you to easily remove and replace the phone to the belt
Protects the phone from bumps
Dosent look like a purse
And holds the phone securley
Wow 2 week delivery from New Zealand even with the lowest rate, that awesome!!!
So Im all done case shopping,,,,,, I found one I liked
Nutshell treo 650 case
The good:
1) Its a good looking case, I was surprised.
2) It is held close to the body so you dont bump it on everything.
3) Extremely well made it will last 20 years
4) With the phone out and the case still on your hip it is flat and comfortable so you dont need to take the case of while sitting in a snug chair or car, try that with a fat lock/release swivel clip.
5) It is easy to take the phone in/out of the case, faster and easier than any other case Ive used (no lining up the rivet with the female adapter, no shirt caught in the clip, no spinning of a swivel while struggling to line up the phone)
6) The leather is thick so the phone will be well protected baring any smashing type situations.
The bad:
1) The corners are just left open, their not unprotected but its sloppy looking.
2) There is something pushing up the leather in the back that might wear thin in about 5 years, I guess.
3) Something similar of a lower profile is pushing in on the inside of the case towards the screen so I put my phone in facing the other way, but it dosent slip in/out as easily.
4) The only things accessible while in the case are the volume keys, headset jack and half the custom side button, (but this is not meant to be a use while in the case kind of set-up)
5) You cant use egrips with the case but thats obvious and wasnt exspected.
6) The case adds alittle size to the phone, they could have went with a trimmer design but might of had to compramise ease of use to do so.
