Question Travel App for my 600

Hi all,

Does anyone know a good app for the 600 for travel. Specifically I'm looking for flight schedules, arrival and departure times.

That would help a great deal with all the travel I have to do for my 9-5!

Thanks

Hello Gradyb, I live on my 600 and the only application I use is Pocket Express. It's great for news, sports, weather and everything else you need to have on the go!

Well it's time to jump on the plane...

Sounds interesting

Pocket Express you say.

What features does it have travel? How easy is the application to use? How much does it cost?

Lots of cool features you can check it out on your own at AT&T MEdia Mall. . Just about everything in the travel section of the Pocket Express widget is free. There's a pretty good utility to check flight status and schedules; There are numbers you can call for hotels and travel reservations, there is a currency converter. And so on. There's also some nice travel editorial from their in-house "RED." Their goal is to acclimate you to checking at this spot for help, and you'll find that it is useful to you. I suspect that the phonecalls one places are funded by the recipients, or there may be some advertising play.

Thanks Clancy.

Yes their travel channel is great, it provides all the information I need. Thanks so much for the recommendation.
The currency converter is very handy!

Pretty good features when you have five minutes of downtime. Sports, news, weather, entertainment, etc. Each of these "channels" has some value-add component as well. For example, entertainment has access to tv guide's television listings. weather can be configured to provide weather in my area, and so on.

Don't check your stock prices, it might make you cry.

Even though PocketExpress lets you track the crash very easily and anywhere.

In the event that you don't like your "Pocket Express", then head on over to FreeWare Palm (http://www.freewarepalm.com), and browse the list of applications. I get a LOT of stuff from there.
