Keeping Your Data Under Lock and Key

I just made a brief survey of Palm freeware for the purpose of keeping encrypted memos. Not that I mind the world knowing my wife's shoe size, but some folks, are, well, sensitive.

Not to mention passwords, PINs and which mat you keep your spare house key under.

What's not in your wallet? What do you use to protect sensitive data in your PDA? Let us know what products you use, and what you no longer use because of problems.

And, if you haven't, here's a few examples of the state of the art:

Keyring for Palm OS - OpenSource, so probably best. Triple-DES (aka TDEA) crypto, meeting the FIPS 140-2 standard of NIST. Here,
NIST discusses Triple DES ('TDEA')

Crypto Pad - Uses Blowfish algorithm.

YAPS - Uses Blowfish algorithm.

I've used Virtual Wallet for both the PPC and PC. Nothing fancy, but keeps all my info private.

My choice is visKeeper (www.visKeeper.com).
It's available for Pocket PC and PC (with sync) and has a picture password login.

The developer uses Twofish 128 Bit encryption.

Palm OS; comes with a Windows client that it syncs to; very mature software; $15. Works great for me!

I installed Keyring for PalmOS. Looks great. Now I can carry passwords with me safely. Thanks.

I use Passwords Plus from DataViz. Syncs with PC, works well for me.
