It doesn't get much easier than this if you live in the US. MDM sells PDA applications for Palm, Pocket PC, and Nokia phones that they distribute on SD cards. This is a great way to carry your applications without taking up your pdaPhone's precious RAM. The first 5,000 users to register on their site will win a free card by mail. Choose between PalmPak Game Card: Rayman, PalmPak Travel Card: Worldwide Cities, Sega Classics, PalmPak Dictionary/Thesaurus or Atari Retro. I think this is for US addresses only. They have a lot of other great titles as well.
Check it out at MDM Software.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
Yep, I thought it was pretty sweet myself. Its one thing to get a free download... but to have them mail you a free card with the software loaded on it...that's cool.
I haven't really heard anything from them. No real spam yet...though I get a bunch, so it all tends to get tossed out. Hmmm....anyone else out there get one?
Well 8-10 weeks isn't unreasonable considering it's 5,000 and they're free. I'd just hate to think it was an attempt to develop a targeted mailing list without any of the benefit.
There was no mass email stating who would get what if anything...just kinda got dropped. Still, I am hopeful and checking the mail
hey guess what my Atari retro card came in the mail yesterday, but the games are a little hard for me as the phone(t600) has more power speed and memory than the original atari did
but still its very cool, check your mailboxes guys!!
I started questioning MDM, so it's only fair that I follow up when I received my card in the mail today. I guess I was just a wee bit early Happy little camper now tho.
I got mine today, I sent my request without reading all the posts, or looking really closely.
I didn't check the compatability, and I received the Sega Classics, which requires Palm 5, and runs on Tungsten or Zire. Anybody want to trade? If not, I'll offer it for sale. Of course, they're out of the 5000 free now......
