I only have one problem with the merger, 'cause I read both forums anyway (I was contemplating an i700 because a co-worker is in love with his O2 phone and I want to stay on Verizon)
My username is "All-Purpose Guru" on SPS, and "All-Purpose Gur" on PPH. This is because PPH limits the length of usernames. Besides looking stupid, it's irritating because I never remember what to type in when I log in.
Is this a hack that wasn't installed on PPH? If so, can we get it? And, given that, does that mean that I'm in trouble with my userid on PPH?

How long ago did you join PPH, before or after we moved to vBulletin. I don't think either site has changed the userid limit, so my guess is that was a phpBB limit. Either way, shouldn't be a problem. I'll check to see if I can fix it now.

The merge testing is going well, but it is going to take a lot longer to actually do it. There are over 500 duplicate userids between the sites that will need to be reconciled, so I am considering taking both sites down tomorrow during the day to do it. Very important...
IF YOU HAVE IDS ON BOTH SYSTEMS, MAKE SURE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESSES ARE THE SAME.
Also, is everyone seeing the ip address in the url... meaning the DNS has updated... if so I'm going to move the site to the new server....

My email addresses were different on the two sites (my userid and password were the same however.) I have changed my email address here so the two are now identical.
Sorry for the downtime folks... we were almost done with the merge and ran into a snag... I'm waiting on some help to call me back. If anyone is good with mysql and php, I have a snag to get by and could use some help. I'll keep you posted.

Probably totally unrelated to teh problem you are having, but it appears that the clock is wrong on the server.....
