"Joni Blecher Section Editor
This is a tough game to call. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sony Ericsson T68i make it to the next round. It packs a lot (Bluetooth, IR, and a color display) into its small frame, but I think the next-generation Palm phone will probably pull it out in the end, with its SD/MMC slot and spacious, 65,000-color screen."

Yeah, this is going to be a close race... but we will win! Never give up! Never surrender!

sigh... at this point the most interesting thing left is what c|net will do about the rampant cheating on both sides.

(Nokia - Sony P800 voting is over 100,000 total...)

Gee... I don't know what could be going on here...

7135 = 9,302,759,115 votes
T68i = 11,548,633,029 votes

I just read the fine print on the CNET contest page......... each vote from the same IP counts as 10 votes for the OTHER phone!!!

lol... j/k. The contest if officially a joke.... unless CNET has already considered this eventuality.

(I cross posted this... sorry! )

WOW... what are the last couple hours going to look like on the spreadsheets??

THe CNET people are probably laughing right now saying stuff to each other like "do they really think we're THAT stupid???". Of course to that I would say to them "hey, we've read your smartphone reviews... enough said". I'm just joking

I assume they will make adjustments... because it couldn't be more obvious what's going on. What would be really sad is if they do not... and manufacturers say stuff on their product sites like "winner of the 2003 CNET cell phone challenge".
