Just popping in here for a quick update... we're working on getting everything back up and running, however we did lose a lot of information from the crash.... All accounts registered after Mid-May were lost so you'll need to re-register. If you sent an email to us, we're treading our way through them and hope to have a response out to all of you very soon.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and we'll do our best to get back to you. Thanks for your patience in all of this and we hope to have SPS up and better than ever shortly.

Unfortunately I have an unavoidable scheduling conflict. I'll be looking forward to the next gathering after that. Have fun!

And any timeline on when the other features of the site will be rebuilt... homepage, and such.

that info is not recoverable... WYSIWYG....

getting the board back up to snuff is on-going. jazz/JJ do have a life out side of this wonderful forum and this catastrophe could not have happened at a bad time such as it did. they are having some other things to take care of and you can be assured that the board will be back up to spec very soon.

whats things are you specifically speaking on? we can get a priority listing going to see what the people miss the most.

but if you are looking to get any info in the last couple of months, that information is lost....

Can't deny you guys a life. You all do a great job!

that's a good idea. Ohh there are a ton...
-I liked the home page that showed the most recent threads
-the little field at the bottom of the thread where you could post a quick response

There was a lot of good stuff during that time. It corresponded with Verizon's launch of the 7135 so there was a lot good info as people were disconvering their phones, me for one. I was thinking perhaps other members of the forum may have some of the stuff they posted and we could put out a call for reposting some of the stuff as well!
thanks for the info

mg,

thanks for your input and i appreciate you taking time to post.

the items you mentioned are exactly on my top list as well and those are pretty much at the top of the bosses' (jj/Jazz) list also, so those things will happen shortly.

yes we had a lot of info that was not recoverable and the board was looking good but when you get as high profile as this site has been (i mean verizon/Altell tell their customers to come here!!)

things are moving slowly.. there is still some things that need to be ironed out in the site (jazz just got the 'PM inbox full' issues resolved) before we can implement the "hacks" (the quick reply and link that showed at the bottom of the QR box) so they are coming.

again, thanks for staying around and for your input!

Is the time off, or is it me?

Since the board came back up, I've noticed that the board's time has registered two hours off for me. For instance, it says it's 1:30AM, but it's really 11:30PM here. I've checked my profile settings, and it's still set correctly (Eastern time), so that's not it. Could the machine running the board, or doing that calculation, have either the time, or the time zone it thinks it's in, set incorrectly? Rather inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, but anyway.... Thanks!

After reading your post, I checked and have the same 2 hour difference. Good eye!
